About
Engineer by profession, builder by habit.
I'm Tabrej Alam, a Software Engineer II at Walmart. I am a software engineer, AI engineer and entrepreneur interested in building scalable software, developing AI-powered products, solving real-world problems and turning ideas into practical digital products.
I joined Walmart as a Software Engineering Intern in January 2026, where I built MyDay, an internal developer productivity platform, as a full-stack application. Since July 2026 I've worked as a Forward Deployed Engineer on the MetaHub team, building an enterprise platform end-to-end with TypeScript/React and Java/Spring Boot.
Outside work I build independent products — MedSpora, a medicine distribution platform, and InterviewMentor AI, a real-time AI interview coach — and I founded Webiiex Solutions Co., a digital solutions business.
I studied Computer Science and Engineering at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, and spent much of that time at hackathons and competitions, from ISRO's AMSAS to the Amazon ML Challenge.
